To wrap up the events of the Foodbuzz Festival, we all headed to Perry’s on the Embarcadero to enjoy a delightful brunch. The place was airy and sunny with great views of the bay. Tables were laid out with all sorts of goodies!
Breakfast foods aren’t my favorite, but the selection here was great. Even the cheese and fruit platter was impressive, with lots of artisan cheeses and sumptuous seasonal fruits.
There were all the brunch classics: scrambled eggs, french toast, bacon and sausage… as well as some stand-outs like curry roasted cauliflower and cute Chinese spoons that held mini yogurt parfaits. Add some mimosas and fabulous company and it turned out to be an absolutely pleasant occasion!
After the brunch, I wandered out onto the pier to take in sights of the nearby Bay Bridge and enjoy the lovely day.
The Foodbuzz Festival was just the beginning of time in San Francisco, so I have a LOT of cool food adventures to share with you in the coming days! Oh yeah, and that Thanksgiving thing is coming up too.. any of you celebrate that? 😉
